Andy Sumner, is a cross-disciplinary Economist. His research relates to poverty, inequality and well-being and in particular child poverty, and MDG/post-MDG debates.
His work has included recent collaborations with UNICEF and UNDP. He has also conducted work for Google and the World Bank. He is a council member of the Development Studies Association (DSA) and the European Association of Development Institutes (EADI).
He has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and five books and is series editor for Palgrave MacMillan's 'Rethinking International Development'.
